We’re looking for an experienced Head of Human Resources to join our Gym Operations team in, Copenhagen Denmark!

The Role
Reporting to and working closely with the Gym Operations People Director, the successful Head of HR Denmark will play a key role in co-creating and driving our people plan for PureGym Denmark and will work in close partnership with the Operational leaders to drive the performance of the business.
The Danish business is investing heavily in transforming the estate, this role will be pivotal in supporting the Danish transformation plan and defining and executing an inspiring HR plan.
Additional Responsibilities include:
- Building trusted relationships and firmly establishing yourself as an integral HR Partner within Gym Operations, working in close partnership with the Operations Director and Regional Managers.
- Developing, coaching and upskilling managers to increase capability in people management.
- Proactively educating managers on key topics aligned to our People Plan
- Understanding the range of development solutions available and building a strong talent and succession plan.
- Identifying the development opportunities for each level in Gym operations and working in close collaboration with the Learning and Development team to develop the right learning interventions. This would likely be a combination of in-role real time learning through coaching and mentoring, accompanied by programs designed and delivered for relevant groups.
- Partner closely with Central Operations to plan for and trial new operating models.
- Responsible for the Learning and Development Matrix.
- Direct management of a small team of HR Business Partners and HR Projects.
- Understanding the drivers of attrition and develop a data-driven retention plan to enhance job satisfaction, team building, and employee morale among gym teams.
- Working closely with the wider people function to build a team brand and service that is valued by the Danish business.
The Person
- Proven leadership experience in a Senior HR Partner/Head of HR role, ideally in a similar people centric and social, service driven sector.
- Possess intellectual capacity and agility to add value within the team.
- Experienced team leader, able and happy to manage and develop a team of HR professionals.
- Experience of a Multi-site business operation, exposure to a matrix organization would be highly desirable.
- The successful candidate will be determined and resilient to be able to achieve the ambitious goals that lie ahead.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to confidently communicate in English when required.
- Highly collaborative and care about getting a great result for the benefit of the people team and business.
- Strong technical generalist with the ability to think commercially and see the bigger picture
- The candidate will be a ‘hands on do-er’ with extreme ownership, and executing the plan to deliver in partnership with operations.
