We’re searching for a HR Partner (FTC until June 2026) to join our HR team based in Copenhagen Denmark!
The Role
As a HR Partner at PureGym you will serve as a partner to Gym Ops. Management team, supporting the entire employee journey.
You will work closely with Regional Managers, District Managers, and Gym Managers to provide guidance on various HR processes, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and talent development. The role will involve ensuring compliance with employment laws, facilitating workshops, and fostering a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
People Partnering
· Collaborate with Regional Managers, District Managers, and Gym Managers throughout the entire employee journey.
· Attending monthly days out with Regional Managers and scheduling regular time in gyms with District Managers
· Understanding key challenges / opportunities across districts and creating action plans with DMs
· Providing a commercial lens and being a ‘critical friend’ to stakeholders, to drive business initiatives whilst supporting the DMs / RMs to deliver
Employee Relations
· Support with and advise on difficult employee cases, absence dialogues, and performance issues.
· Upskill line managers on employment matters
HR related administration
· System Support and Administration alongside HR Administrator (where required)
· Follow-up on onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as other people/HR processes.
Recruitment Support
· Coaching managers to think strategically about internal hires, challenge them to place high talent into appropriate gyms
· Monitor job adverts and push hiring managers to act on applicants in a timely manner
· Challenge advertisement of vacancies to ensure the correct reach across talent pools
· Analyse regional recruitment data and share with stakeholders
· Upskill and advise hiring managers on recruitment methods, ensuring we run a fair process and hire top talent
Talent Development
· Ensure professional succession planning and talent development
· Support with Progression Pathways (internal management development programme)
· Facilitate Talent Review calibration meetings with managers for performance reviews.
Workshops and Meetings
· Facilitate workshops in Management team meetings
· Conduct coaching sessions for District and Gym Managers on leadership.
Well-being and Performance
· Provide ongoing consultation on well-being, retention, performance, and absenteeism.
· Conduct onboarding meetings with new Gym Managers and provide Insights Profile feedback.
Working Environment
Ensure compliance with legally required working environment organization (AMO)
The Person
· Previous experience in HR, particularly at partnering level
· Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
· Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
· Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office suite
· Fluent in English and Danish language
· Proven ability to facilitate workshops and coach leaders effectively Insights Discovery License
· Able to travel between gyms located across Denmark (Odense, Espierj and Aarhus regions) and into our Copenhagen based office.
